Yankees 3B Alex Rodriguez confident he'll come back strong from strained left calf
Alex Rodriguez is confident he'll be completely ready to return from the disabled list next week.
The New York Yankees star is eligible to return Sept. 5 and manager Joe Girardi says Rodriguez will go right back into the cleanup spot.
Rodriguez is out with a strained left calf. He joked before Monday night's game in Toronto that the Yankees may not want him — the AL East leaders are 12-0 when he's not in the lineup.
