1B-OF Ryan Garko becomes free agent after Giants don't offer 2010 contract
The San Francisco Giants have let Ryan Garko become a free agent, rather than offering him a contract for 2010.
The 28-year-old first baseman and outfielder was let go Saturday.
Garko hit a combined .268 with 13 home runs and 51 RBIs for the Giants and Cleveland. The Indians traded him to San Francisco in late July.
