Ramirez has two hits, Padilla throws two hitless innings for Dodgers in win over White Sox
Manny Ramirez had two singles as the designated hitter, Vincent Padilla threw two hitless innings and the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Chicago White Sox 8-3 Friday.
Reed Johnson drove in a pair of runs for the Dodgers, who played most of their starters in the spring opener.
Chicago's Mark Buehrle allowed an unearned run and three hits in two innings — a passed ball in the second put Casey Blake at third base before Johnson got his first RBI.
Johnsons single in the fourth scored Blake DeWitt.
Padilla went 4-0 in seven starts for the Dodgers after being released by the Texas Rangers in August of last year.
