Reds activate OF Laynce Nix from disabled list
The Cincinnati Reds activated outfielder Laynce Nix from the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday and put him in the starting lineup in left field against Houston.
Nix went on the disabled list on Aug. 31 with a bulging disc in his neck. He leads the team with 29 doubles and has hit .251 with 13 home runs and 37 RBIs.
