Rockies-Marlins game postponed because of rain following wait of 90 minutes
The Colorado Rockies' game at Florida was postponed because of rain and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Sunday.
Saturday's game never started and was called after a wait of 90 minutes. The scheduled starting pitchers, Rick VandenHurk for Florida and Aaron Cook for Colorado, never began warming up.
This weekend's series is the last of the year between the two teams. Colorado leads the NL wild-card race, and Florida is two games back.
The doubleheader is scheduled to start Sunday at 1:35 p.m. EDT.
