Alex Rodriguez returns to Yankees lineup a day after being hit by pitch, aims for 600th HR

Alex Rodriguez is in the New York Yankees lineup as he tries to his 600th career home run Monday night against the Cleveland Indians.

Rodriguez was hit on the left hand by a pitch from Kansas City's Blake Wood in the eighth inning Sunday. He left the game, but is back in the cleanup spot and playing third base Monday.

Rodriguez has one career homer off right-hander Jake Westbrook, who starts for the Indians. He is a career .375 hitter (9 for 24) against Westbrook.
